With on-the-go grillers in mind, Char-Broil brings you the “Grill2Go ICE” Charbroil Portable Grill. It is a collapsible propane gas grill unit attached to two durable wheels. That makes it similar to a rolling luggage for easy transport. When in the rolling luggage form, the whole set is no higher than 3.5 feet. Now, grilling for outdoor parties is as easy as 1-2-3.

Once you are set to grill, simply lower the handle bar and extend the grill to its full height. This is actually an independent unit that requires no extra table. The frame of the rolling luggage serves as the stand. Slide the side shelves to support the grill. Now, you are ready to connect the propane tank and regulator.

For operation, the unit requires a separate 1 pound Liquid Propane (LP) cylinder. The burner can produce up to 10,000 BTUs of cooking heat. The dimensions of the unit are 29” x 44.6” x 37.5”.

Grilling Performance

You may think that 10,000 BTUs of heat is relatively lower compared with other brands. Other types of portable grills offer 12,000 to 18,000 BTUs as heat output. Why still buy the Charbroil Portable Grill? The answer is the revolutionary infrared cooking system. This patented technology allows rapid reflection and distribution of heat while cooking. That means you can cook while reducing gas consumption by 66.6%! You can also cook up to 3 times faster! This is done by the Grill2Go without sacrificing the mouthwatering flavors from your foods. You can even add special smoky flavors to your meat and veggies by dropping wood chips on the lower lid through the grates.

For its compact size, the grill still offers a cooking area of 290 square inches. That’s enough to cook hotdogs and steaks for the whole family in one sitting. With the heat regulation system, you can cook tough meat and delicate foods alike, like fishes and vegetables.

Special Features

Perhaps, the nightmare after grilling and partying is the clean-up. But this is no problem with the Charbroil Portable Grill. Just wipe the grates after brushing them off. That’s it! You don’t have to deal with grease because the unit has an easy-clean surface.

Portability is the cutting edge of this grill brand. It is designed so that you can use it anywhere: at the patio or the back deck, beach, backyard, tailgating parties and camping. And you don’t even have to carry it. Just wheel the travel cart around.

Now, why is it called Grill2Go ICE in the first place? It is because it is a grill and a cooler combined in one set! There are two soft-covered coolers that fit right below the grill in mobile form. Put your beverages in one cooler and your frozen food on the other. Both have a capacity of 30 quarts. Below the grill is a protective shield to protect the coolers. There is no need for an extra ice chest. For your convenience, these coolers are detachable. That makes the Charbroil Portable Grill your ultimate party partner.

If you are looking for the large grill, perfect for camping or just at the backyard, then the Blackstone Griddle must be the right one for you. With 720 square inches of cooking area, you can grill food, good for 8 or more people – in just one sitting. This commercial griddle/grill from Blackstone is your best mate for barbeque and tailgate parties, hunting or fishing. It is easy to set-up, transport and clean-up. Currently, this item can be shipped only in the United States.

Features

This griddle has an extra large, 36” by 20” thick cooking surface, made from rolled steel. There are 4 burners underneath. The heating capacity of each burner is 18,000 BTU, allowing the griddle to heat up quickly. Each burner is individually and independently controlled to obtain the preferred temperature. This also helps in even and constant heat distribution. Because the burners use propane gas, it is one of the best portable grills in the market.

Because of the heat control scheme, the Blackstone Griddle is one versatile cooking partner. You can cook up to 4 different types of foods all at once, since you can vary the heat at different portions of the surface. You can perfectly grill steaks and chops on one side while preparing fishes and sea foods on the other. You can even cook your side dish vegetables at the same time.

Each burner has dimensions of 14” by 3”. This size guarantees rapid and even heating. Because of the variable warm to hot settings, you can cook delicate foods without crushing or burning them. If you have the task of cooking heavy steaks for a party of twenty people, worry not! If you use all four burners in maximum setting, the total output is 72000 BTUs! You can cook all the burger patties and steaks that you want in no time.

The grate is made from high grade stainless steel. The ignition of the burners is purely electronic. The whole set has a stylish black color and stain resistant design, making clean-up a breeze. Users, in their web reviews, commend the durability of every part of the griddle.

Package and Assembly

The slight complaint of users is the slightly bulky look of the Blackstone Griddle. However, there is no problem with assembling the grill. There is no need for screw drivers or wrenches to raise the griddle. To assemble the stand, just insert the cross bar on the unfolded legs and attach the thumb screws. Then, put the griddle on top and your ready to cook! The assembled set has wheels that allow easy transfer of location, even while cooking. The wheels are equipped with safety locks to hold the set in place.

You can purchase this item from Amazon.com. You can also purchase optional items and accessories from same site. These include the grill box and cover, and the genuine carry bag. The carry bag allows increased mobility of your heavy-duty griddle. Just disassemble the Blackstone Griddle, slip them in the designated compartments and you’re good to go.

Portable cooking has never been this easy with the Broil King Gas Barbecues grill, “Porta-Chef S.” It is a portable propane-operated grill that is perfect for backyard parties, tailgating, camping and hunting. It comes in a stylish black design, with a durable resin-made, fold-up side shelf.

Cooking Performance

The product has a compact form factor, with dimensions of 39” x 17.8” x 34”. It has a silver chest-type case, with heavy-duty handles attached to either half of the case. It comes with a side tray and 4 black steel tubes for the legs. When fully assembled, there is no need for an extra table. You can put some food and condiments on the side tray. The legs elevate the grill to an average above-the-waste level, for comfort while cooking.

Porta-Chef S operates with liquid propane. With its tubular stainless steel burner, this can generate 12,000 BTUs of heat. That is an excellent performance for a small, stand-alone grill. The cooking grid is coated with porcelain enamel. This guarantees excellent heat distribution. You do not have to worry about your steak having cold or uncooked spots. They will be cooked to perfection, with beautiful grill lines. Porcelain coating also makes the grid more durable in enduring heat expelled by the burner and food juices.

The cooking grid of the Broil King Gas Barbecues grill is also equipped with the Flav-R-Wave steel cooking system. This enhances the even distribution of temperature from the tubular burner. The set is also equipped with the Sure-Lite Ignition System. Ignition is electronic, hence you are guaranteed that it will heat-up at any ambient condition.

It is also equipped with the Accu-Temp Thermometer. You can measure and adjust your cooking heat while grilling. That allows you to cook any type of meal on your grill: from steaks and chops to more delicate meat like fishes and sea foods.

Portability

The unit has durable straps that allow you to carry it anywhere. Simply lock the grill case and you’re good to go. Stow it in your car’s compartment, or put it under the passenger’s seat. You can also buy an optional carry bag to put the grill, legs and side tray. You don’t have to worry about damaging your Broil King Gas Barbecues grill due to frequent transfer of location. Its side shelf is made of solid resin, which holds the entire case secure and resistant to stress.

While the Porta-Chef S is perfect for outdoor trips, it also works well for home use. If you have a balcony, just leave it there fully assembled with the legs. It will not take more than a few square feet of space. It will always be ready when you want something grilled for dinner.

Setting up the legs can be a bit of a hassle, especially when you are outdoors and you don’t have a table for mounting. The high-grade, stainless steel legs are four separate tubes, which must be inserted to sockets beneath the grill’s body. Nevertheless, this is just a minor issue. The Broil King Gas Barbecues grill can still operate without the legs.

There is a new item from the O-grill family that you’ll surely want to buy. The O-grill 1000 Portable Gas Barbecue grill combines function, portability and style. This clam type unit weighs only 22 pounds, with 165 square inch of contact grilling area. These features rival even heavier, pricey and larger brands in the market. This tool is perfect for backyard parties, tailgating, picnics and camping.

Basically, the O-Grill 1000 is the baby brother version of the O-Grill 3000. It still has the assembly features of its older brother: compact clam shape and handle. Just close it and carry it anywhere. The heavy-duty handle allows you to carry the unit in an upright position. With its size, you can easily slide it under your car’s passenger seat. If you are a camper who’s always on-the-go, you may purchase the optional carry bag. You may also consider buying the O-dock collapsible table. This piece is designed to fit wit O-Grills, and is perfect for outdoor grilling.

On the upright position, the O-Grill 1000 looks like a simple, elegant, flattened egg shell. On the top is the heavy-duty handle, which is made of two fitting pieces – each attached to either half of the grill case. At the bottom is the integrated refillable propane gas tank, with the safety twist-ignite switch.

Even if it is small, this grill has an unmatched 9450 BTU burner, which operates on propane gas. After ignition, heating up will just take a few moments. The cast iron cooking grid evenly distributes heat so that there will be no cold or uncooked spots on your food. You can prepare mouthwatering, evenly cooked steaks and chops with beautiful grill lines. The approximate run time on a 14.1 ounce cylinder is 4 hours. After cooking, clean-up is a breeze. The oils and juices from foods can quickly be drained. And the set is covered with stick-proof, easy-clean surfaces.

The retractable legs beneath the unit set it apart from other portable models. You can operate on the table top with the legs folded. But if you need to adjust the grilling height for the comfort of your back, simply unfold the ergonomically designed legs. No other “portable” grills at around 22 pounds have that feature.

However, if you feel that the 165 sq. in. cooking surface is not enough, it is recommended that you still purchase the O-Grill 3000. After all, model 1000 is just 2 pounds lighter than model 3000. Model 3000 has a cooking area of 225 square inches. It also has a storage compartment behind the grill. Just be careful when you are buying the optional grill cover because there are two different sizes.

Order the O-Grill 1000 right now. There is guaranteed fast delivery anywhere on the United States. The product can also be shipped to select countries outside US. It has unmatched performance for its size, and you can even choose from different colors. It comes in green, purple, red, orange, black and blue, which is the most popular choice.

Get ready to grill mouthwatering foods with the Cuisinart CGG-200 All-Foods Table Top Gas Grill. This table-top Cuisinart Portable grill may be compact, but it allows you to cook anything with perfection – from steaks to your vegetable side dishes. With its 12K BTU stainless steel loop-type burner, and its porcelain-coated iron cooking great, it will grill your food efficiently and evenly.

The Cuisinart portable grill has a modular grilling surface system, which makes it versatile for virtually any type of dish. The system allows you to interchange grill panels, depending on your cooking needs. There are surfaces particularly designed for soft, delicate foods like vegetables. While the panels lock securely and snuggly to the cooking surface, unlocking is as easy as a snap.

Grill Design

The CGG-200 has a stainless steel 430 steel grill lid. The double wall insulation of this lid keeps all elements out while maintaining even heat while cooking. The handle is made of stainless steel 201, making it safe and easy to open the lid and turn food while cooking. Even if it is compact, the grill offers 240 square inches of cooking surface. Now, that allows you to cook for up to 8 people in just one sitting!

Porcelain coating is applied to many heated metal elements of this grill. These parts include the cooking grate itself. The grate is the most abused part of portable grills but worry not. Porcelain enamel provides structure, durability and resistance to repeated heating. The flame tamer is also enamel-coated to withstand temperatures released by the burner.

Finally, the Cuisinart portable grill CGG-200 is equipped with a durable single-piece welded grill base. If you are into serious table-top grilling, you need to have a strong base. It elevates the grill to the preferred grilling height. You can also purchase the optional folding grill stand, which can be connected to the base without reassembling. This is also made of porcelain enamel-coated steel.

For storage and mobility, the grill can be disassembled into the following: leg assembly, screws and washers, cooking grate, firebox and lid.

Performance

You start grilling with the ergonomic “TwiStart Ignition System.” All you have to do is to press-and-twist with one hand, and it will ignite in just a few seconds. Users commend how the system is able to heat up quickly. Because of the simple design of the table top grill, heat and reheat-up times are a lot faster than most market models. Within a moment, you will achieve the desired temperature with the 12,000-BTU burner. The grilling temperature can reach up to 500 degrees in no time!

The grate is uniquely designed, allowing you to use either side depending on the type of food. The flat side is best for producing perfect grill lines on chops, poultry and steaks. The other side is best for even, point-grilling. This works best for soft meat like sea foods and fishes. Both sides of the Cuisinart portable grill grate are guaranteed to distribute heat evenly so that there will be no cold or uncooked spots on your meal.

Summer is often thought of as BBQ season. With holidays such as Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day, you are bound to be invited to a cookout. It’s highly possible that you could be the host of one of these shindigs. Whether you are veteran BBQ’er or just getting started, planning ahead can make your summer BBQ go smooth.

BBQ Guests

You should know the approximate number of people that will be attending the festivities. No matter how many invites you send out, there will be people who just cannot attend or who will want to bring a friend or a friend of a friend. Don’t expect RSVPs from everyone you invited. You need an approximate amount of attendees to plan for food and possible parking conflicts.

Weather

If it’s summertime, we can assume that the temperature will be warm enough. However, we cannot predict any precipitation. If it does rain, do you want all these people in your house or would you rather have them outside in a tent? You can simply have a rain date. You should be keeping tabs on the weather as the BBQ date approaches and make any changes necessary.

Meat for the BBQ Grill

A BBQ isn’t a BBQ without any meat to throw on the grill. What types of meats do you want to serve? Is this just a hot dog and hamburger event, or are you cooking chicken, ribs, or sausages? We all like to save money so if you need a lot of food, you might want to shop at a big warehouse store such as Costco or Sam’s Club. Your meat should be prepared and marinated ahead of time so those meats are ready for grilling on party day.

Side Dishes

If you want to stick to traditional sides, baked beans, potato salad, and coleslaw will do the trick. If your party has a certain theme, then you need sides to match. When you invite someone to a BBQ, they’ll likely ask if they can bring anything. This is a perfect opportunity to have them a bring side dish. This will be one less item you need to prepare. Chips and pretzels are a great snack to have on hand and the chips will go great with the burgers and dogs.

Other Stuff You Might Need for Your BBQ

After planning the food you need to plan miscellaneous items. You guests will need drinks. Non alcoholic beverages should be available for the kids and non-drinkers. If you want to make alcohol available, you need to get that or have a guest bring some. Your guests will need a place to sit. You need to have enough chairs. Everyone won’t be sitting at the same time so you don’t really need a chair for every guest. If the party will be running into the night you might want to consider tiki torches and mosquito repellent.

Summer time BBQs are a lot of fun but it can be a lot of work for the host. It is a 3 PM to until event for your guests but it’s an all day affair for you. To cut down on work time, prepare as much as you can ahead of time. Use disposable items if possible to cut down on cleaning time. Accept any help that is offered to you. The main thing you need to do is to have fun!

Grilling outside can be fun activity in the summer months. However, a few mistakes can ruin a great meal or your entire day. Mistakes on the grill can be detrimental to the quality of your meal or your safety. To get the most out your grill, here are some mistakes to avoid.

Food Preparation

Your food should be fully prepared before cooking. You meats should be thawed before throwing it on the grill. Cooking frozen meat will prevent it from cooking thoroughly. You should food should be seasoned and marinated before grilling for maximum taste.

Bacteria Prevention

One raw food leaves your plate, the cooked food should not be placed on the same plate. The remnants from the raw meat can carry bacteria and spread to you cooked meat. Always have separate plates for cooked food and raw food.

Keep the Juices Inside

While cooking your meat, you shouldn’t poke too many holes in it. Poking holes will cause the juices to come out and dry out your meat. The juices helps your meat maintain its flavor, therefore you want to keep the juices inside. Juice drippings can also cause flare ups in gas grill that will also quickly dry out your meat and leave you with a messy grill.

Don’t Open the Lid Too Often

While you want to check your meat, you don’t want to open the lid too often. Constant opening and closing will cause your grill to lose temperature. The change in temperature can dry out your meat and will use more gas in the long run.

Stay Near Your Grill

Do not leave your grill unattended during use. Fires can spread quickly if you have a flare up and no one is around to control the situation. It is also advised that you keep a small fire extinguisher nearby just in case you get an uncontrollable fire.

Clean Your Grill

After a great dinner, the last thing any of us wants to do is clean the grill. If you want your grill to last a long time, regular cleaning is a must. The cleaning will prevent hard build up the will be nearly impossible to clean if you let it sit on a regular basis. The stuck on debris can cause flare ups during cooking.

Cool Your Grill

You grill should be cool before cleaning. Spraying oil on a hot surface can cause your grill to catch fire. Also, you want to make sure it’s completely cool before doing any maintenance because an unsuspecting hot spot can cause serious burns.

Portable Gas Grills at Great Prices Here!

Although is site is about portable gas grills, I would like to give you some insight on other options you have. In addition to the portable barbeque grills, you can also choose a charcoal grill, propane grill, natural gas, or smokers.

Before gas grills became popular, your likely choice would be a charcoal grill. Charcoal grills require charcoal (of course) and lighter fluid. It can sometimes be a challenge to heat the grilling surface evenly with a charcoal grill. They require cleaning and new charcoal with each use. They come in various sizes so if you like the charcoal taste but still want a portable grill this is an option.

Propane grills use propane to cook your food. They are easier to light than charcoal grills. Depending on the number of burners, you should be able to heat the cooking surface evenly with no problem. They also come in various sizes so you can opt for a portable model.

Natural gas grills require more room and likely a fixed location. These types of grills are hooked up to your home’s gas line. If you want to cook meat fast and don’t require a portable model, this is an option for you.

If flavor is your ultimate goal, then smoker grills are the right type for you. Smokers use wood to slowly cook your food which really brings out the flavor. They can be transported if this is important to you but if cooking time is a priority, then you might want to consider other models.

When you are shopping for a barbeque grill, there are three considerations we must consider: price, space, and flavor.

Price

In most buying decisions, cost is an important factor. The price is going to be determined by they type of grill and size. Your cheapest option is going a charcoal grill. You can get these for around $20. The next cheapest option is a propane gas grill followed by smokers. Natural gas grills are going to cost the most, starting around $300.

Size

Most people like portable grills because of their size, as they take up less space. Space considerations are going to depend on where you live. If you live in an apartment, portable charcoal and propane grills are your best bet. If you have a home with some space, then you can also consider natural gas and larger smokers.

Flavor

We love our grills because of the flavor they bring out in food. While they all get the job done, they are not created equal. If flavor is of utmost importance, a smoker is the grill is for you as it brings out that smoked taste. The downside of a smoker is the cooking time. If you want quicker cooking times with that smoked taste, charcoal with be your next best bet.

Portable Gas Grills at Great Prices!

Once you’ve purchased your barbeque grill, you will need to maintain it if you want to enjoy it for years to come. Many grills can cost hundreds of dollars; therefore it is in your best interest to clean it regularly so you can enjoy it for many summers. Depending on the barbeque grill that you have, there may be different maintenance requirements. However, most grill maintenance advice is universal, meaning you should follow most of these barbeque grill maintenance tips no matter what type of grill that you have.

First, you need to gather the supplies necessary to clean you grill. These include:

Wire grill brush

Steel wool

Dishwashing soap

Cloth

Cooking Oil

Baking Soda

You should brush off your grill at regular intervals. After several uses, burnt food can begin to build up on your racks. By cleaning regularly, you can prevent the buildup that becomes increasingly more difficult to remove. This buildup can cause flare ups as they can catch fire.

Seasoning the Grates

Before first use, you should season the grates. We need to make sure the grates are clean and free of build up. Next, we spray the grates with cooking oil and rub the surface with a clean cloth. After coating the grates, turn the grill on medium heat to let excess oil burn off. Repeat this process as necessary.

Give It That Shine

You just invested a lot of money for that grill so we want to keep it looking nice. A great cleaning agent for stainless steel grills is baking soda. Ensure that the grill is clean and free of any debris. Once it is clean, you scrub it with baking soda to give it the nice gloss as if you just brought it home from the store.

Protection from the Elements

Most people keep their grills outdoors during the summer months. This will subject your grill to bad weather that can cause rust and other problems. The simplest solution is to cover your barbeque grill when not in use. There are covers for grills of every size so you shouldn’t have a problem finding one.

These basic barbeque grill maintenance tips can help your grill last a long time. Buildup on the racks and burners can cause problems. The easiest way to prevent them is to clean your grill regularly. These regular cleanings will enable you to enjoy your barbeque grill for many years.
